Sierra Opens at Apache Shoppes This Weekend in Rochester

The 18,000-square-foot store is located at 1250 16th Street SW in the Apache Shoppes center, joining other popular tenants such as Trader Joe’s and Erik’s Bike Shop. The space had been vacant since June 2020, previously occupied by Chuck E. Cheese, and the arrival of Sierra brings renewed energy to the shopping center.

Apache Shoppes, a 60,877-square-foot retail center located across from Apache Mall, is a key retail hub in southwest Rochester. The center was acquired by Phillips Edison & Company in November 2023 for $6.4 million, marking a change from the previous ownership that had held the property since 2006. Its location at the intersection of U.S. Highway 52 and 16th Street SW ensures high visibility and accessibility for shoppers.

Shoppers at Sierra can expect a wide selection of apparel, footwear, camping equipment, yoga gear, and more from top brands including Carhartt, Adidas, and Keen all at discounted prices. The store is open daily from 9:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m., making it convenient for early birds and night owls alike.
