Proposed Development: New First Alliance Credit Union 37th Street
As of December 17th 2024 the city of Rochester's community development have received a submission for the construction of a brand new First Alliance Credit Union. This comes after the existing branch at 320 Alliance Place NE Rochester was deemed to be uninhabitable due to water damage to the building’s foundation. After an attempted sale of the land to a buyer that fell thru, First Alliance determined that demolition and rebuilding a smaller branch was the best for the organization. The branch set to be demolished is approximately 12,438 sqft. The new branch will be a very efficient 3,700 Sqft with three drive-thru's with Interactive Teller Machines (ITMs) for members.
Plans have been submitted on approximately .48 Acres of the 1.53 Acres by the architect team of CRW and engineering professionals of Widseth & WSE Massey.First Alliance made the announcement of the plans on August 29th 2024 according to this press release.
First Alliance allowed the fire department to run safety drills in the building set for demolition. More updates to come as site preparation continues along 37th street nw.
For continued updates follow along at the First Alliance website.
