Sticks & Stones Expands Boutique Offerings to Zumbrota

Shoppers in Zumbrota now have a new destination for curated fashion, accessories, and home goods with the opening of Sticks & Stones’ flagship location in the heart of the city.

The boutique, an extension of the well-established Mankato store, has built a reputation for thoughtfully selected merchandise and engaging pop-up events. Over the years, Zumbrota shoppers enjoyed seasonal pop-ups, including the popular “Zumbrota April Pop-In” and summer sale events. These temporary shops built a loyal following and fueled anticipation for something more permanent.

What began as a focus on jewelry has since evolved into clothing and, now, a full boutique experience.

The new location also features an exciting addition: Stitches, an expansion within Sticks & Stones. Stitches brings in beads, yarn, fiber, and embroidery goods, along with classes in those areas. While no sewing or custom embroidery work is offered, this addition creates a space where creativity and retail come together under one roof.

“We really like how we’re able to merge fashion with customization,” Shelbi the co-owner explained. “It’s about making the space reflect not just our brand but also the community we’re part of.”

With doors officially open, Sticks & Stones is bringing Zumbrota residents a one-of-a-kind shopping destination that unites fashion, accessories, and home goods in a community-centered space.
