A major redevelopment project could soon reshape a key block along Rochester’s riverfront. A proposal for a high-amenity, market-rate apartment complex is slated for discussion at a Neighborhood Information Meeting on June 25, 2025, from 5–6 PM at the Rochester Public Library’s 2nd Floor Meeting Room. The session is open to the public and aims to gather feedback from Eastside neighbors.

Designed with the Community in Mind

The project team is seeking early input from the public to help shape the vision. Topics of discussion include building design, traffic flow, landscaping, and how the new development will integrate with the existing neighborhood fabric.

Organizers say the goal is to enhance the Eastside area with modern housing options, while respecting the riverside’s natural and urban context. (Exact site plan, floor plans, renderings, elevations, unit-count TBD)

This meeting will cover plans for the proposed redevelopment of a high-amenity, market-rate apartment project, ranging from four to seven stories.

The development is expected to include between 175 and 215 units, with a design and aesthetic similar to the nearby Riverwalk Apartments.

Next Steps: Community Input and City Review

Following the June 25 meeting, the project will advance through formal stages including site plan development, zoning considerations, and potential refinements based on community feedback.
