Atma Healing Arts Expands into Rochester

The nonprofit organization, dedicated to promoting health through meditation, movement, and creative expression, continues its mission of making holistic care accessible to everyone.

Atma Healing Arts was founded on the belief that healing begins from within. Its name, derived from Sanskrit, means “soul,” reflecting the group’s focus on nurturing inner balance and personal growth. What started as small meditation gatherings in a local apartment has evolved into a thriving community dedicated to physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being.

The new East River Road location provides space for meditation classes, Pranic Healing trainings, yoga sessions, and community workshops designed to support people at all stages of their wellness journey.

The center also partners closely with Atma Health & Acupuncture, operated by Dr. Jason Calva, PhD, LAc. A portion of the clinic’s proceeds supports the nonprofit, helping to ensure that services remain affordable and that no one is turned away because of cost.

In addition to ongoing meditation and yoga offerings, Atma Healing Arts will host upcoming Pranic Healing courses, including MCKS Level 1 and Advanced Level trainings this fall. The organization aims to bring together individuals seeking both personal healing and opportunities to contribute to the health of the wider community.

Through its new Rochester location, Atma Healing Arts continues to expand its impact, offering a peaceful setting where healing, learning, and connection come together under one roof.
