Free Summer Concerts at Mayo Park: July 13, 20, 27 & August 3, 10.

Concerts kick off at 7 PM, offering a perfect family-friendly way to enjoy summer evenings in the city.

This year’s July and August concert lineup brings a vibrant mix of nostalgic rock, modern country, and rich folk harmonies to the stage. The series kicks off on July 13 with alternative rock favorites Blind Melon, best known for their ‘90s hit “No Rain,” with local opener Amateur. On July 20, rising country star Caylee Hammack takes the spotlight, joined by Genevieve Heyward. The Wailin’ Jennys, a renowned folk trio, headline on July 27, with support from Molly Maher & Her Disbelievers.

August continues the momentum with Tone Lōc performing on August 3, along with Desdamona and The Orange Goodness. The final show in the series wraps up on August 10, featuring Hoobastank with John Forrest and the Model Citizens.

The concerts are free to attend and open to all ages, making it a popular destination for families and music lovers alike. Attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs, blankets, and picnics, although food trucks and craft beer vendors will also be on site starting around 6 PM. Restroom facilities, including accessible portables, are conveniently available.

Beyond music, the Riverside Music Series embraces community engagement with The Art Stop free children’s activities hosted by the Rochester Art Center providing entertainment for younger attendees. Accessibility is also prioritized, with CART real-time captioning accessible via QR code and accommodations available in the Public Music tent.

Parking is plentiful, with free downtown ramps, surface lots, and street parking nearby. Walking or biking to Mayo Park is encouraged to avoid congestion.
